Theory for Sketching Graphs

With or without the GC, you still need to know the theory for sketching graphs. And for any given graphs, there are 3 features you always need to find (if they exist). They are:

Stationary points
Intercepts (with the axes)
Asymptotes

For a curve with equation y = N(x)/D(x), where N(x) and D(x) are polynomials, is it possible to have horizontal, vertical and oblique asymptotes occuring together?
